Kick-Off-Event for Mexican Alumni of the Manager Training Programme

German-Mexican business challenges and opportunities in times of COVID-19

Mexico has been a partner country of the BMWi-Manager Training Programme since 2013 and has approx. 380 alumni. Most of them are organised in alumni associations and informal networks. The alumni are interested in continuing networking with German companies in Mexico, Latin America and Germany and corresponding organisations. The programme promotes networking among alumni, especially in these difficult times, to overcome the crisis and to increase cooperation with the German-Mexican Chamber of Commerce (CAMEXA).

Purpose of the event

The aim of this event is to get an input about the actual opportunities and challenges caused by the Coronavirus pandemic in the German-Mexican economic relations, especially for the alumni of the Manager Training Programme. The pandemic calls for special measures to maintain and expand bilateral economic relations. During the session, two online surveys will ask the Alumni about the main challenges and information demands for support. The result will be considered for further activities / trainings offered by the programme for the alumni.

The event will take place digitally on September 17th, 2020 10 AM (GMT-5)

It will include key note speeches by:

German Mexican Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CAMEXA)

Secretaria de Economia / Unidad de Desarollo Productivo
